You could be forgiven for thinking this is a bit tacky at first glance.. but if you watch the accompanying YouTube vid it's actually quite an interesting, likeable property that would probably cost a silly amount of money to replicate today. Huge amount of value (5000sq/ft) for 1.25m

Well it's different, and much of it very nice. A lot of the built in cabinetry is a bit old hat, and the layout is quirky, but it's a lot of house for the money that looks to be in a nice setting, albeit with very close neighbours.

Meh, not convinced.

Not quite as smart on visitor photos.

I think I could find a better £1.2m home, however each to their own.

Doesn't look anything like that anymore.

So even better then, with swimming pool, updated outhouses and a tennis court. smile

That’s fabulously quirky. Love the exposed structural wood, and the living room, dining area and kitchen are great.

There are a load of places like that popping up on the riverside near me. Personally I think they’re hideous.

McMansions that have zero architectural merit and have zero appeal.

Love a Victorian period property nicely updated. But I refuse to buy a house from someone who sets their hifi up like that (kidding jimi).

I thought it was odd too. Centre speaker up on the ceiling too.

They've got a lot of interior design styles going on there. Whilst I love art deco, this isn't the house for it, IMO.

Is that actually real or is it computer generated? No humans involved.

There's nothing modern about it, it's edwardian pastiche.

They truly are awful. Cobham, Esher, Weybridge, Virginia Water etc are full of these awful things. Money cannot buy taste.

In order to be Edwardian pastiche, it has to be modern, surely?
