Apolos, but failing to see how that's pawn really. Sure it has a very nice mature garden, but the house itself / layout and fitout is somewhat average and underwhelming really.

Hmm, not pawn for me. Interior is a little dull, no setback from road. It is a nice house with a great garden and plenty of potential, just not pawn.

You really think that house - both internally and externally - is average?

I wouldn't be falling over myself for it, but I wouldn't regard it as average.

Agreed. By any (normal) metric, that is a jolly nice house.

There would be over 100 houses a day posted on here if we posted any vaguely pleasant £1m house, though. I've got a search on RM that is Farnham +20 miles - minimum £1m. There are probably 20-30 houses a day that get added better than that, and they still do not IMO merit a post in here by and large biggrin

That has been for sale for ages, on and off the market. The PDF says the photos are from August 2022.

Probably lovely in the Summer, freezing cold or fuel bankruptcy in the winter.

Yup, I remember it being on here and in particular its location adjacent to the light industry park.

Quiet village and decent plot. Alas no pub.

OK, maybe average was not the best choice of word, I accept by the actual UK average its deffo above average, but its woefully dull, nothing special (which is what I meant by average) and therefore most certainly not pawn in any sense. Pawn garden, maybe, but thats as far as it goes on the pawn scale. smile

Inside is nothing at all.

But it’s a nice building and the gardens/plot are very nice.

Agreed. By any (normal) metric, that is a jolly nice house.
I think it's awfully expensive for Shropshire as well.

Issue for me is how it relates to the bigger house next door.

Quite like this, £1.75m in Southwold.

Garden is a bit sh*t, and I have a hatred for hot tubs that cannot be expressed sufficiently for now, but...

Nothing semi detached could ever be pawn to me personally.
