Perhaps it's because the op would have to hire a mobile crane to lift the dead bodies of the hundreds of slave labourers who get killed in the process.
Pish, the oven is only 450 kilos, you'd end up killing a dozen starving egyptians/middle eastern folk tops, and the starving variety are light enough to be moved by hand. (or just chuck em into the oven )Seriously though, i'd look into the olg egyptian method, and see if you can get some big railway-crossmembers/treetrunks or other thick/long pieces of wood to build a more gentle ramp down the stairs. In the grand scheme of things 450kg isnt all that much for a construction like that.

O'rly ?
Can get hand on cranes that are £/Tonne capacity/hour + hour mob/demob.
i.e a 20Te'er would be £20 , £20 for and hour, £20 demob = £60.
I think you are talking about something completely different. No idea what a "hand on crane" is anyway, but suffice to say that a company like Ainscough or Emsleys won't be supplying it which is what's being discussed here. Can get hand on cranes that are £/Tonne capacity/hour + hour mob/demob.

make use of the ramp that's already there. Build a platform that keeps the oven level with rollers on the bottom - lower it down the ramp using rope/winch.
Could extend the bottom or dig a hole out to allow it to slide further down
ETA I don't think it's going to need any rollers to help it down that slope!!

I meant, I can / could get my hands on a Mobile Crane (or variety of sizes) for the above basis pricing.
We used to use them for loading / unloading wagons, containers etc - general lifting duties in the yard.
Why would you necessarily want to use Ainscough, Mammoet etc? Red Tape / Approved vendors etc etc .
I'm up North, but we had the above outlined agreement with J Hewitt Cranes. http://www.hewitt-cranehire.co.uk
I have also recommended the likes for mates 'need to lift a thingy over the house' or 'got to turn this thingy around'
As with most things in life. Pick up the phone, be a human, talk through the needs, and see what a 'local' crane company would have to offer / passing.

OP, here's your solution: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-beds-bucks-he...
A long while ago, I used to work in office fit outs and clearance. We used to have a need to move big safes around now and then, and the company I worked for used a safe removal company who would send over a couple of massive strong blokes who would turn up with straps and ramps and manhandle one out of the building without much issue.
Can't think who they were now but there must be a few knocking around on the internet who could do what you are asking. e.g.: http://www.tridentsafes.co.uk/
