Haha yeah I can imagine any noise will make you paranoid!
I guess I can't complain, as it looks awesome and is a world away from the mess we first moved into, I just would have thought with all the self levelling etc, we were meant to have a perfectly flat, creak-free floor.
Yeh that would be annoying, do you think it's the joints making a noise or not being level? Did they put any kind of undelay underneath it seeing as it's loosely laid? If it's the joints you may be able to use something like silicone spray along the joint lines to quieten it down, although be careful spraying it too far as it will make the LVT like an ice rink and maybe check with the manufacturer first

Proper big sink, that looks nice and practical.
Yep, went for the biggest one they sold. So fed up with washing up in sinks that don't fit everything, so this one is awesome!

They did put underlay down, yeah.
To be fair, the underfloor heating has only been working since Friday, so maybe things are just moving around a bit?

Abode Matrix R15? That's exactly what we've gone for too, we've having a regular sized 1.5 in the kitchen and a larger ~50cm larger single in the utility. I was going to have the ~75cm extra wide single in there (is that what you've got?) but the unit is only 800mm on the end of a run so would have left too thin a worktop edge according to our designer/supplier.

It's this badboy: https://www.diy-kitchens.com/sinks-and-taps/sinks/...

Before it was installed I was worried it might be TOO big, but now it's in, I think it's perfect.

Ah OK, looks very similar and pretty much exactly the same size, shame we couldn't quite fit one in.

Kitchen TV and wine fridge installed (plus of course the usual Mrs' addition of sofa cushions!)

I’d try and find the narrowest TV bracket you can in order to get it as far back against the wall as possible since you will be walking past it a lot.

Yes, I was slightly disappointed by how that turned out.
I need it to pivot both ways though.....not sure I'll find something narrower?

Is it worth revisiting that and trying to recess it into the wall?

That probably could be done, but with so much else still to do, spending time/money on that might not be worth it. We'll see if we find ourselves banging into it a lot or not.

Final bits sorted, just the pendants left to do then that's the kitchen done.

Very jealous of this! Really impressed with the progress and the finished product.

I wish our kitchen was that far along, it was delivered last week but for various reasons fitting won't start until the end of the month so I doubt it will be finished until the end of July.

Only thing I'd suggest to improve things is the TV is badly in need of a high level power socket behind it or some conduit buried in the wall to hide the power cable.

Funnily enough the power socket is at tv height. It’s the HDMI to the Sky Q box you can see.
I’ll be getting a cable hide thing soon.

Maybe mount the Sky box vertically behind the TV and avoid any cables coming down?

What a bloody good idea! I’d never have thought of that. Just checked and it fits nicely.
