^^^ I'd love to do a full resto on something like that, i.e. challenging, but not massively scarey.

This has happened a few times, when something odd shows up on this thread, its in the Metroa few days later. Some lazy jurnalist, spends his day on PH! (kind of like the rest of us)
Yahoo news are doing the same thing, maybe PH should charge a finders fee smile

Scary enough that they haven't put any internal photos (it's a gut it job anyway I guess) and that the owner is an architect but doesn't want to renovate it himself!

If I bought that the first thing I'd do is shave the 'tache off it. Houses don't need 'tache's.

Fully furnished apartment for £10k pcm!

It is admittedly part of, what was, Leo Rothschild's house, in 200 acres of woods and gardens, with its own steam train!

A repost, and no. They are derelict because hugely wealthy foreign owners have bought them, never lived in them, left them to rot and probably have forgotten they ever had them. They're not for sale as such, it's more of a monument to the horrific extremes of capitalism.

not bad at all, then again for the price you'd hope it'd be nice - really like the waterfall in the garden

Great find. Thanks for posting. It's certainly different and though not my cup of tea I admire someone for trying to do something other than turn their home into a replica of a bland 5 star hotel, as most London pads seem to be nowadays.
