Random question. I am selling my late mothers house at the moment. Think I could move that to bulb to get a extra bit of credit on my account?

I'd say definitely.

Seriously though some on here may still have a £75 referral code. Mine is currently £50

Absolutely.

We switched my partners flat while it was on the market to sell, had been for a long while so we assumed we where safe, but it turned out the completion happened on I think the Thursday before it was due to change on the following Friday, so a week and a day after.

However it all went through, we got £50 in our hose account, partner got £50 credit on the flats account (plus £50 first payment) and then we closed the account and with drew the £100 having made 2x £50.

If we had done it a few months earlier when we had a £75 deal we would have been £150 up.

Doesn’t matter - if you were a landlord of a dozen properties you’d qualify. All they want is new accounts/properties to supply.

Ah! That's on the "Smart" tariff, only currently available for some older SMETS1 meters.
There's the catch.

Bulb are encouraging customers to have a SMETS2 smart meter installed.
Once they get it, they find out the smart tariff isn't available for it yet and no date when it will be.

Then, if you decide to take your new SMETS2 meter Bulb have installed and use it on Octopus's smart tariff, there 's no guarantee it will work with Octopus.

Our house is in my name, but equally from bulbs view it's another property converted. Sold.
Parents have done it, same surname, grandad, few mates, few off ph. Well worth it.

Somehow since changing to bulb, I've always gone over my £70 a month dd.
Used to have a tesla which didn't help but haven't owned one for 2 years and yet my account constantly shows the same ish balance.

Havent had heating on for god knows how long and am not exactly leaving everything on all the time or any weird heavy usage things.

Actual readings or estimate?
Immersion heater left on by mistake? Do you have a smart meter display?
