Now we are coming to the end of a three year house extension and renovation, it is time to try and add some life to the blank canvas of walls.
This is the first addition to the downstairs.

Liking those a lot, out of interest is there still lots of texture in the print, and what sort of money is getting something this size framed? scratchchin

I haven't actually opened it yet, I've left it sealed until I'm ready to get it framed. I've got the name and number of a local framer who's been recommended; once I get to having it done I'll post up here what it cost. I'm thinking of going with either a simple black frame (per the picture on the artist's site) or perhaps very dark grey to pick up on the background of the piece itself.

I'm in the process of starting a wholesale clear-out and redecorating/refurnishing so it might be a while until it's up on the wall though.

Yeah, the print was £475 delivered, an original oil painting is usually around £3-4k+ so prepare your wallet. They also go very quickly when he releases them onto the site.

I haven't posted for a while but here are some new-ish additions...

This is an original by an artist up in Reading. Well, I say original, but I rather suspect she churns them out. smile

Can I have her contact details please? This will suit my wife.

Her name is Sonia and she works out of Fanny's Antiques up in Reading. Your best bet would be to phone Fanny's as that's all the details I have, I'm afraid.

Hope that helps.

I quite like that

Printers tray with assorted junk on is easy. We have one. The hardest part was my job cleaning up the printers tray. Hers was finding the junk - that seemed very easy.

Clever to get people to pay for one

Not normally one to comment on people’s choice of art, but those Star Wars sculptures look absolutely dreadful and as though they’ve been used as door stops in a paint workshop. Apologies if they’re your thing, but they’re not for me yuck
