I wouldn't live in Boston if you gave me the house, and the £345,000. I suspect the price reflects the fact that I am not alone.

I used to have an "auntie" that lived in Boston. She was a mighty fun girl - but she did like a good afternoon drinking in Wetherspoons! Ah, happy days! But it was always nice to leave and come home biggrin

Incidentally - wasn't it Boston where the Polish pub owner/landlord put up a sign that said the local English were not welcome?

Anyway, I was just browsing over the weekend, looking for a beach property (or v close to the beach). Was looking around Poole as I understand some of it to be quite well to do.

I don't particularly like the ultra modern rectangle boxes, so was surprised to see this. I like places that have a bit of interest........ my Mrs says it looks romantic and my daughter likes it because fairytale!

Lovely characterful rooms, very tastefully done, but a bit lacking in land and PHer car space. I think if you want to be in the Slad Valley you probably want a better view too. But anyhoo...

Both very nice. How much garden/and comes with the Stroud property? You'd like a bit for your country retreat, I think.

It’s a nice house. Quite a striking bathroom! Slad Valley is lovely but I think I’d rather be at the other end in artillery range to Stroud than bayonet?

What on earth have they done to bugger up the photos so badly?

Looks like some sort of over sharpening or other weird compression artifacts.

On a side note, you don't see many telly's like that any more.

Nice pad.

Is On The Market more high end than Rightmove?
No. It's estate agents making bizarre use of the RAF roundel to club together to try and get some power back from the relentless increase in RM's reach and costs.

In London, Zoopla still > Rightmove. Which is weird. As rarely does anywhere outside the M25 go to that first.

Primelocation appears largely irrelevant these days.

"It's a microwave oven, you 'tard!"

Oh, wait... just found the one you mean! Used to have one like that - so much glass in them they're bloody difficult to shift...

Lovely, but seems overpriced for where it is, and under-provisioned for where it should be ideally, further up towards Slad, with views.
