Love the Knight frank web site how it offers "financing options" on a £30 mill property and

"There are also numerous buses offering access to the West End and the City" People with a £30mill house often need a bus I would imagine.

Really... a silver corner chesterfield for example with faux 18th century chandelier, alright it's no footballer tacky tat but by god it's eyewateringly expensive awful, it's like the owners Mrs got her friend who's some second rate interior designer and they've has spunked a monumental amount of st over nearly every room (a couple look passable), and when they ran out of ideas in the garden they got one off the peg at Chelsea.

looks cool. I can't help but think that a character property like this would have aspects to it which would drive me nuts within 5 minutes of living there.

The cheaper one on The Bishop's Avenue (the 7.95 million one) is very nice, I could see myself living in that one.

I like how the estate agent has left the before and after photoshop versions of their pictures on the advert!

BEFORE

AFTER

Its hard to tell above but quickly flick back and forth between the two above on the actual website - they have stretched the building!

There was one posted on here previously that had left both sets of pictures on, and they had done all sorts of things (adding fences, turfing a dreadful bit of garden) - was pretty amusing.

Was that the Irish one that had added fake blue water to an empty indoor pool?

I can't help but think in the middle of a truly debauched sex session you would feel rather uneasy living in a former house of God.

Whilst I would add religion to the same shelf in the book shop as the tooth fairy and santa claus, there's enough of the what-if in me that makes me think I should just play ball enough to hope I might get a place aboard the great white cloud, even if I have to wait a few weeks to go through clearing.

That said, some wicked bible based fantasies could be fulfilled. Mary Magdalene always came across as a bit of a hottie.

Like put up a cross outside and not look like a loony - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IlZQhNlwc7U

You could also add an ex-waxworks horror body on it with a sign that says "Cold caller" to scare off the Jehovah's witnesses.

I love it!

Basildon, not so much.

But I can tell you that such places are a sod to heat, plus you're forever banging your head on the beams in the mezzanine bedroom.
