Assuming you mean the open plan bit, then privacy is easily restored with a wall and door.
True, but I'd like to move in and not have to get a builder in!

Is the answer not a lot for quite a lot of money? But as a property itself, it's OK.
Lots of money, next to a commercial property (dog groomers) that is open 6 days a week. Constant traffic to and fro, no doubt ttish parking and lots of yapping. It's a nope from me.
Didn't even see that bit. Just the open plan ensuite is enough to put me off!

I just think it spoils the bad name of the thread by being not rubbish enough (and who knows, watching their other half take a dump may work for some) hehe

Well, most of the submissions can be restored with new walls and doors so I think my link is valid!

It's hardly a sympathetic restoration and quite inappropriate for the house style.

It dates from 1650 so is obviously listed. I cant see how any conservation officer who wasnt mad or blind would have given consent for that degree of modernisation.

That church isn't too bad if you look at it as a blank canvas. The holiday rental furniture is what makes it look drab.

Also, 300 grand doesn't get you much more than a small 2 bed terrace in large parts of the country so it is also an affordable starting point for an interesting project.

very much this ^^^ however the side property is grim (though has potential if bought with the main for a total teardown)
