Does anyone have a Safe behind a picture??

I think it is a capital idea. I don't agree with stuff being in plain sight is better. Unless you have a particularly grand house (which may indicate a safe full of diamonds) or someone see the Safes-are-us van outside on install day the majority of toe-rags who will break in to you are going to be punks looking for cash, jewellery laptops etc. They ain't going to professional safe crackers are they!

You need to give serious though the the picture that is going in front of it. Something grand like a racing horse.

I have a 60 minute document safe bolted to the floor and walls under a stairwell ... Bought it from Argos and drillbit and anchors from B&Q. It's not going anywhere

I just looked behind a picture in our front room, turns out that hollow sound, wasnt a hidden safe but the neighbours front room.......
