Strangely for me the phone line / Internet would be missed more than mains power and you seem to have that sorted.

There are a number of options for power generation (which I have to say would normally involve diesel rather than petrol and could be supplied by the same tank as the heating) so that isn't an impossible task. You Wei up the cost of having mains power installed against your alternative.

Remote properties are always going to appeal to a niche section of the market so I wouldn't worry too much about what your average buyer thinks. Mortgages will be harder to come by but there are people around who don't need one.
