I presume you get on well with your neighbours? Fence taken down, loss of light (?) on their patio etc?

It doesn't effect the light on their patio any more than the 6ft fence that was there before to be honest, we spoke with them before we applied for planning.

The fence was due for replacement anyway as it was rotting out, it's their fence, but we said we'd pay to get it redone as they have been good enough to put up with it being down.

I need to do the same on my property. Can I ask how much something like this costs?

The build is a smidge over 30k, plus another £15k or so for the conservatory.

Christ, having paid £30k for a bricks n mortar 2 storey extension I'd really baulk at paying £15k for a glass box!

It is a high spec one, enrgy efficient glass, auto vents, full electric s and plaster, plus 5m wide bi fold doors, which alone add 5k

Windows have gone in upstairs so at least one room is weather tight.

The upstairs room that's been extended is actually are really good size now, we're really pleased with the feel of it at the moment.

Shame they didn't tip the scaffold board back at the end of each day.
Hate to see scaffold rash, no need for it.

Looks good. Nice big windows. Doesn't look like you'll get those trickle vents back on though.

If they don't go back on, the builder doesn't get his last £5k.

Got the drawings through for the conservatory too, just need to get a slightly less ornate ride moulding in my opinion.

On the RH side viewed from outside is a brick wall.

Sparkies & plumbers here doing 2nd fix at the moment, will update pics when they have gone, in the meantime I have a pic of the conservatory on the house. The conservatory doors are full width bi fold, not quite as shown.
