Nice job, I think the first photo is how most people picture pools in this country.Yep, we've been in the pool industry for 35 years, and do everything from retail, service/maintanance, to refurbs and new builds, or if you're too far from us we can supply absolutely anything you need to for your build.

My 'other site'.... Should be pretty much the cheapest on the web for most things!
If it's not, let me know!

While I think about it, removing the lid on my sand filter caused it to shift slightly. Water now escapes from the bottom pipe. I've tied a new seal on the joint but that has not worked. I can't feel the water coming from the joint and suspect that I have cracked the pipe coming out of the sand filter.
It is a Lacron.
Is replacing the bottom pipe a major exercise?

Not a major exercise, but a bit of a ball ache. Lid off, media out (use a wet and dry vac rather than hand scooping), and then replace it.The bottom pipework has the 'rose' at the bottom that the latterals (candles) screw into.
I'd just need to know the diameter of your filter (18", 24", 30" or 36") and I can price up the bits for you.

Not wanting to turn this into an advert, but a most above mentions liner pools, and liners being badly fitted. Last summer we fitted 11 replacement liners, all of which should give 10-12 years service without fading. We don't do creases or wrinkles Then after 12 years, it gets replaced again, and you have a brand new looking pool.
