Saw for cutting legs of desk
Discussion
Handsaw or multi tool with a wide blade, Clamp some wood as a guide, as this guy does at the beginning of the video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp0EkNCYD7Y

Hand saw I'd say too
You could always have a practice go leaving the desk an inch or two higher, then if you need to adjust your technique you can have another try without leaving it too short
Absolutely the best option if you're not sure of yourself. But handsaw every time for that, definitely. Won't take 10 minutes. You could always have a practice go leaving the desk an inch or two higher, then if you need to adjust your technique you can have another try without leaving it too short
Nope nope nope nope ....... No bench saw. no jigsaw, infact nothing that needs electricity or a battery..... and def do not use a square.
Make sure it's on a flat surface, find something that is the same thinkness as you wish to take off (like a book), pencil line it around each leg. Turn the damn thing on its side, and with either a tenon or fine tooth short jack saw carefully and gently cut along the line. Be especially careful when you get to the end of the cut to reduce the chance of split out.
Simple simple simple. Twenty minutes front start to finish and the cost of a handsaw.![smile](/inc/images/smile.gif)
