Anyone know about Yuccas?

It’s baffling isn’t it. My sister gave me one over 20 years ago as a flat warming gift. Bloody awful thing and yet it reached over 8 foot before a lack of ceiling height inspired chopping the three arms off. One year in and the bd is rocking.

Never watered in winter, rarely kept in direct sunlight (soon learnt that was an invitation for the fker to reach for the sky). And it’s still in the same crappy, sandy soil it came in.

I’m very much under the impression that the more you neglect them the happier they are. This is probably why every bloke was given one as a house plant when they bought their first flat.

I’ve had my Yucca for longer than I’ve been married, longer than my dogs, longer than I’ve been moved out of my mums house hehe

It’s been there with me for about 15 years!
