Lady F has used Mumsnet, and exited, stating that it is a poisonous, vicious bed of hate and bullying.
I occasionally browse mumsnet, specifically, 'AIBU', or as I tend to think of it 'HUAIB' or 'IABU' - as it's occasionally entertaining to watch a fight.

Some of the Feminist subfora are eye-opening. It's a deeply, deeply unpleasant place, full of unpleasant people.

Makes changing light bulbs a pig, and heating bills hilarious.

I've a couple of bulbs in a 17' ceiling that would never get changed if I didn't use this:

After I nearly killed myself when I fell off the very top step on my step ladder and came crashing down onto the glass table I hired a scaffold tower, carried it up three flights of stairs in pieces, assembled it, cleaned the (89cm diameter) light fitting in our front room that has a fifteen foot high ceiling, dismantled the tower and carried it back down three flights of stairs in pieces. What a PITA!

While I had the tower I replaced the pendant cable with a longer one so now the light hangs much lower within reach of my stepladder.

A stick to help change a light bulb is hardy any commitment at all.

Congrats. Great potential there.

Agree with ditching the gym. It's like buying a high end coffee machine - just go to a cafe/gym. Much better.

Save the cash for a monster cinema room and garden room, jacuzzi. Or whatever.

OMG - makes much of the options list on a Porsche seem like good value! Really nice though and I'm sure makes the room - but you can see my limited yardstick!

LOL! You must have gone for the 'sports' suspension and 'sports' exhaust upsells there;).

To get to afford my PDCC I went for a £150 refurb Café Corso machine machine on Ebay - I swear it was brand new and saved £250! Enough to pay for a Porsche logo on a headrest too winklaugh

They are large format (120 x 60cm), rectified edge porcelain tiles fitted with 1.5mm tile spacers. From European Heritage in Fulham.

It’s the kitchen back-splash, the smooth, non-porous finish means they wipe down much easier than real painted brick.

Sorry for the thread hijack.

Sorry for further threadjack but having done a splash back with a matt finish tile and a "riven" finish I bet grout removal was a bundle of laughs

For others approaching this task - get a gal of brick acid biggrin
