Over the course of a week or so I have read every page of this brilliant thread, from the initial plan to the final pictures. Everything from the potential helicopter lift, the snake, the disappearing forky, the reappearing forky and the poor much maligned shed, which is now going through the shed equivalent of a full face lift.
Congratulations, what you have achieved is brilliant and summarised so well by the look on your daughter's face in the pictures of her first swim.
I have a couple of pools at home, one a bit smaller than yours and one a fair bit bigger, but I'm not much for swimming so both are 'natural' ponds and used daily by about 20 ducks, a couple of herons and, if we are very lucky a visiting Kingfisher. Water is amazingly calming and has the advantage that you don't have to mow it!
Congratulations again, any chance of a final picture of the completed shed/storage/bar area?

It was brilliant fun doing the whole project and thread so it is great to hear people are still enjoying it.
Work on the new section stopped over winter and will pick up again shortly. I'll take a couple of photos of how it currently is and post them here shortly.

I have tried to upload some photos of the pool house and bar, but for some reason every time I select one and try and upload it I get a message saying there is no photo to upload!

on the pictures, did you get a flashy new iPhone reciently, the image size is gopping huge and cant be uploaded, caught me out too.

Possibly to do with the file size - Thumbsnap can only handle a max of 2Mb I think.XJSJohn said:

Edited as I was sure my Birthday fell on a Sunday this year, but just checked and I was completely wrong!
So the weekend of the 27th/28th June and most likely to be Saturday the 27th.
