Broadband is being built in the area, so for a connection fee you could get up to 1Gbit/s up/down. And it's only 5 minutes away from a larger inhabited island with its own shops and services.

Nearer to £1.2m at current exchange rates. The service/maintenance charge is £1300pcm though, which is a bit scary.

It's just down the road from me.

It's been on a very long time - June 2012 with another agent when it was £200k more.
It has been Under Offer twice with Savills so I wonder if anything is wrong scratchchin
All things considered, it is still over priced IMO.

The local roads aren't the best, but a small negative for a gorgeous property.
Surprising for an Old Rectory, it's not a graded property so would hopefully be easily altered should a buyer wish.

If that were nearer £1.2m, I'd be seriously looking at it as a country hgouse for purchase equally with a friend. We're looking for a country house to share (we both want to keep our places in London), and for weekends, a nearby station that goes to Liverpool Street Station (near my office) in under 2.5 hours sounds good.


It is a beautiful property. My Defender moored in the garage on a trickle charger for when I get there? I think so.

This listing was removed for a while, but has popped back up, with a reduction. Now 100,000 less than before.

It really is the most wonderfully proportioned house. Just fabulous.

Test them out with an offer :-) what's the worst that can happen.

if it's been on the market a long time then you are in the driving seat.

Coincidentally, I went to school with the owners' children.
I must be honest though, that one does nothing for me. At that price, having close neighbours would put me off.
Round that way is lovely though. Brooke has good access to Norwich and it's own pub and farm shop.

that must have been on the market for a long time - vacant possession of LOT 2 available in december 2013.

That's a lot of property for the money. If you won a few mill on the lotto you would have to be tempted as a get away.
