was down in Sussex yesterday (lovely part of the world) and noticed a very subtle Savilles sign by a set of gates.

i think ive found my Grail. i think itll keep most of you lot happy too.

£6m - 23 acres, river frontage, G2 listed (with very impressive history).

i want this house:

It looks like there is still a fair length left on the leases to generate decent revenue from Porsche - as an investment that is pretty good if you have a spare £13.5m sitting around.

Man that dining room is awesome - image the great parties you'd have in there!

Been on before I think.
Right up my street that, i like it
yes
I’ve saved the pic of that downstairs kitchen/lounge layout as it’s done very well without feeling like one big room

Absolutely stunning property, but for £6m I’d want to be a greater distance from the village and it’s estate housing.

The front of it is hideous, the back is much nicer.

The front it a bit 'modern office', but I'd cope.

I don't know how I would deal with taking lonely poos in the corner tho

Plenty of room to invite friends and family in if that's your thing.

It’s beautiful and it’s that much precisely because it’s so close to the town and it’s mainline station I would imagine. You can be at London Victoria an hour after leaving the house.

That probably explains why it’s so cheap then.

I like the fact it’s not completely isolated. If you don’t want to be near anyone, just wander off across the acreage.
There wasn’t a huge amount of life/noise around it when we drove past.

It's the viewing chair. You can dump whilst gawping.

It’s also only a ten minute walk to restaurant Tristan which is really good! I know where I’d be every night.

Very nice. I like it. Although I'm not sure it passes the PH test.

<PH nice house test below>

1. Dress up like an extra from a channel 5 period drama.
2. Does the house match your clothes?

If the answer is yes, it passes the PH test.

I do always feel that one's abode should match one's neckerchief.
