I don't understand this property at all. Just off Deptford High Street too, not where one would expect there would be a big market for 1.75 mil properties. It also seems big and small at the same time. And wtf is that chain on the table!?

Was more a comparison against the Deptford one, its about 10 mins up the road but the difference is marked, Blackheath is lovely, Deptford is "Up and Coming"

Black is a good colour to cover up rising damp.

It's got no parking or private garden - thought it looked a bit 'cheap' as a detached and with the seemingly large garden I say 'cheap' in the context of a detached 3 bed 2.3k sq ft. house in Greenwich with an apparently very large garden.

Deptford at one time was the major warship building yard for English kings. I had assumed that building and the chain was in some way linked to that history.... on the other hand it could just be an unusual feature.
