Saw this on twitter and thought of this thread, not the best advertisement. Going to be a nervous few hours for the owner I think....

I suppose not a nightmare per se - more "...has potential..." (although IMO not nearly enough)

Nothing too intimidating there in terms of work I guess, but it seems very pricey for what it is.

I'm guessing that this was designed by the owner occupier. PH marks for five garages and I quite like the menagerie wallpaper in the playroom.

"Designed" seems overly generous.

Fookin' ell. If that is considered a real estate nightmare my place must be considered unliveable.

Not sure if I told the missus I'd just bought us that she would describe it as a nightmare! The kids room is a bit indulgent but I'd say a pretty nice pad.

For such a place I would expect the conversion of the original integral four car garage to be more seamless....

“Designed by the owner occupier...”

rofl Drawn is more accurate (and badly at that).

A horrible muddle of architectural styles and influences complemented by a hideous interior. Excellent candidate for this thread.

The entire pool room, looks like a converted dining room and how big is the pool really without the agents fish-eye lens? Probably replaced a snooker table but they've moved up in the world since.

Given the decor, which suggests the owners are not youthful, I wonder if it was installed for health reasons?

Its the price I can't get over £299k so cheap, where I live for something like that you would need to add a million to the price, you couldn't even get a 1 bed flat for that.

The whole room is 8.51m long, I would imagine I could swim the entire pool on one stroke!
