Yes please.
I think the biggest warning flag for this one should be that it's been on this thread about nine bleedin' times.

Definitely at the mature end of the pawn scale

It was a new build when the listing first went live.

Once again some Dutch pawn:
https://www.funda.nl/koop/blaricum/huis-86038552-k...

The architect, Dudok, is one of my favorite architect although the house is renovated by Jan des Bouvrie who is mostly known for his white interiors for the new rich.

Don’t know the architect, but I like that a lot. Elegant proportions and rather nice detailing (with the exception of the crude open-sided covered area).

That's lovely, what a great find! The area also looks like a nice place to live.

Neither of the Dutch ones do anything for me, but then I am traditional in my tastes.

The house thing looks particularly awkward to me, too much roof tiling.

2 Million for a house with an address 10 Wood Lane doesn't sit comfortably with me.
???

What's an appropriate £2m address?
Well, rather obviously, something like The Old Mill, The Rectory, or Manor House. Something hinting at history, size and importance, not a modern-estate-sounding number with its attendant parking and neighbour issues as per every other thread in Homes, Gardens and DIY or the Plod/Legal thread.

Surprised it needed explanation TBH.

Is "149 Piccadilly" a little bit council, then?

Of course there are exceptions, but someone dredging up an old comment about 10 Wood Lane for gazillions, or whatever it was, was a rather obviously obtuse thing to say. Perhaps a long week is catching up with me!

One of the few examples of a modern extension to a period building that doesn't look totally incongruous.

Excellent. Looks like they’ve hired a skilled architect to come up with a well-crafted addition that shows with skill you can merge contemporary with traditional.

That is very nicely done.

I'm still pretty certain that the attractive glass corridor will be sodding freezing in winter though. Despite being told that good design and spec can overcome it, I've not yet experienced a glass linking-box that isn't significantly colder than the rest of the property.
