I’d have also said it’s unusual for something at that money in London to have zero outside space, not even a small balcony?

Isn't that the block in which Jeffrey Archer lives, also in a penthouse.
I believe Jeffrey's is south of the river - though it is about 10 years since I was there.

If that’s the case, it’s another good reason not to buy the place.

Should check out behind it on google maps. Basically it's a industrial estate.

What a bizarre place to build what would presumably be quite an expensive house to construct.

Site would have been cheap at least biggrin

What a sensible place to put the dining room. So handy for the kitchen....
Who cares. Staff problem.

;-)

The thing I take issue with most is £8m for a leasehold...but I guess those who can afford it don't care about that either.

It looks like it was designed by the same bloke who did old Porsche interiors. You want it blue? Certainly sir...

If memory serves correctly, a PHer in the car sales business (Mark?) showed up to a BTAP in a Boxster with that same interior, I can't recall if it was an auto though...... in any case, what a way to ensure maximum depreciation lol

Archer's is on the other side of the river with one aspect affording views down the Thames to parliament and the other offering commanding views over a texaco petrol station and the mainline into Waterloo

Oh no question about that tbh. I suspect, tho, that it could also swallow a surprisingly large amount of money too

Archer's penthouse was previously owned by Bernie Ecclestone and John Barry - it's also in the Italian Job. Peter Stringfellow was downstairs, too.
