Nice one, cheers for that. Mine has a three-pin connection labelled A, B, C. Of the Worcester boilers listed (Mine is a Greenstar 30CDi, which isn't listed) all of the ones that it lets me see instructions for have the connection block labelled 24v. Looking at the components on the device they don't look up to 240v, but I'm not an expert on that.
Any chance of a pic of the inside of your box too so I can see the components?
I suspect it's going back for a different box.

Would there be an easy way to combine the Nest/Skylarkios and the EvoHome systems together? Giving total control of zoned areas in the house, including hot water, and also allowing it to know when you are not at home?
Just looking at these systems now, and a combination of both would be marvellous.

Some codecs can hacked - certainly its possible to hybrid a lightwave setup with next using a few relays. If lightwave can get their app to work reliably, you can use it to control the hot water cycle. Alternatively, I think someone produced a google plugin so that you can actually use google calendar to setup trigger points...Just looking at these systems now, and a combination of both would be marvellous.
I'm going to one of these thermostats myself and setting the main stat in the larger living space. Bedroom rads will have stats that close during the day and open night. Another slave stat in the master bed will control temps in all the bedrooms.
Don't put the stat in the hallway - it's the most wasteful way of fitting a stat.

For those who were asking about it - Tado have released an update today to allow multiple time settings for hot water; http://www.tado.com/de-en/blog/tado-hot-water-cont...

Yes, but only when someone was in the house, as is the Tado's wont. What did it do before, just heat water all the time!?
Laying in bed from midnight to 6am, hot water, burn fuel!

Cripes, it's amazing that they thought that was adequate.

Not quite, at night hours set by the user - mine is 11pm to 7am - the system is not active (unless temp drops below a level also set by the user).Laying in bed from midnight to 6am, hot water, burn fuel!
