our place when we moved in... now the front garden is gone and there is enought space for 8 cars easy parking or 11/12 cramed in. Had 4 laylandii removed from the rear (including one that was about60' tall) and are trying to think of 'low maintenance' ideas for the rear garden (as far as I am concerned grass is most deff NOT low maintenance!!)

The rest of the house is going to need a LOT of work doing and our plans have expanded somewhat lol, expecting it all to be finished (hopefully and work permiting) sometime 2015

Here's our thermal black hole, not a bad looker for a house built less than 15 years ago IMO..

Its a minger from the back though!

Nice house, I looked at getting a similar one, Kings Hill?

Looks like Kings Hill - doesn't it? I'm in its slightly smaller cousin!

Superb. Do you have a build thread or something anywhere? I am assuming something that unique is a self build of course.
:0) WoW underground house power of google image search has bought up a few pics of this house

And this is pretty cool. More roomy than my old Brattonsound.

I must say, that's bloody awesome! Do you mind if I ask what that set you back (I know what it'd be worth in my area, but I don't know Wiltshire at all)

What is it? For all we know he could like in an outbuilding out of shot or that bug building is split into 4 houses!

I am guessing it's a gamekeeper's cottage judging by the view through the front door and the big gun safe.

Last pic I took was during last year's snow. 1950's ex-vicarage in west Wales.

Same day from the field behind the house, nice spot and exactly the space and quiet I was after.

Manor house rather than Gamekeeper's cottage. But originally the Manor Farmhouse, then the Manor burn down, so I think they just took over the farmhouse.

The hallway and stairs are quite modest for a Manor house.

Here's mine (well half of it's mine) - very unimpressive frontage.....works for me, can barely be seen from the roads and if people do happen to catch a glimpse they've no idea what it is.....

I recognise that place, was it (or your neighbours) for sale last year or so?

Yep, they both were - only built last year - I've been a year and a week now smile
