Sqaure house, triangle rooms and stairs everywhere...and one to many roofs! Only £5000 pcm rent.

Showing as sold here: https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop... I assume it could only be sold to knock down and build a mega Cheshire mansion...
That’s giving me a headache! Its as if Dali did houses

Having looked at all the pictures I think I know what their favourite colour is.
Is it "all of them"?
It's a decorating scheme used by the previous owners of my house. I can it 'feature walls'.

But at least you ve got a bit of land to bury THAT bathroom in
I'd worry more about it being sold via the "modern method of auction" or "I'm a scammy estate agent" method as I like to call it.
I've seen quite a few houses locally being sold or at least advertised that way in the last few months. It puts me off immediately!

The bathroom for our current house was worse than that. It was so bad that there were no photos on Rightmove!

I like that, I love chapel conversions and it has that vibe, interesting rooms made by adapting a unsuitable building

Another fan here, think I'd have been a bit more daring with the decor but it's an interesting building and pretty decent use of the awkward space.

So it only takes half the time to cook the bodies you have just chopped up.

Wait a minute, has the agent been digitally manipulating photos?

The trees, the cars, all in the same position but one photo has lush green grass the other dead grass. Even the clouds are the same, but slightly shifted over the few seconds between each photo.

Taken a little further away but everything else is in the same place.

An ordinary East London semi-detached, you say?

That would be vastly underselling the interior decor, a theme that could best be described as "gleefully mad":
Having looked at all the pictures I think I know what their favourite colour is.
I want to hate that.

But the 8 year old in me that remembers visiting places like this in the 1980's and what my people were up to in those days would love to sit in it, drinking a Campari and orange, and discussing what happened on this week's episode of Dallas.

Take it off this thread!

Hate the Travelodge decor, but love the space. I would do really fun stuff with the interior in that.

Seems about right for over here, it's the land not the property that's being marketed and being in Queens it's easily commutable to the city.
Strange it would have been abandoned like that for so long in that area though.

I have no idea why.

There is a pic of the owner too.

Surely anything is sellable, provided the price is right.

Could you not just paint it all white?
Attention-seeking ‘artist/potter’ who doesn’t really want to sell. If she did, she’d tone it down to appeal to normal people and pitch it at a price to reflect what they’d need to do it.
It does reek of this, doesn't it. If you were that keen, would make the statements "she painted the entire home white in a bid to bring more light in" and "She said after doing one wall orange with red dots it helped distract from the fact there's 'hardly any natural light' and it went from there."

An aunt and uncle had a similar 1930s house (although detached and without the tiled bays) and that lounge carpet did give me strong memories of their dining room in about the same time period. And if I'm honest the time period after that, and after that, and... it's a shame about the eyeball-searing colours, because those carpets are basically indestructible, and those from a more frugal generation made the most of it.

Had to go round my nan's for the stack of VHS copies of Dallas, though.

Not really a nightmare cos it's cheap enough. Check out the wood paneling.
