8 acres, wonder how many houses you could put there.. developer opportunity?

Driven by this every day for a few years and you can barely see the house down its private gated road with all the weeds/small trees or plants growing through the driveway
Its Huge, and looks like a project to renovate it ran out of money, bathrooms look like they are missing taps.
A developer opportunity to replace it with a single dwelling I think. Otherwise someone would have done it alreadyhttp://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

That's only 5mins away from me, love the location of that.....the views/land almost look slightly rural France.http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

Whoa! What's a party barn? Secret handshakes on entry, Throw your car keys into the bowl and all that?http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...
It was £3.2m 18 months ago, so putting the price up to £3.8m is the logical thing for the EA to tell the vendor to do...
Slightly off-topic but this doesn't warrant a thread of its own - what are Bovis Home smoking if they want £1.1m for this new build?

£300,000 mark-up for the privilege of walking to the station. Or you could use same money to park every day at the station for the next two hundred years.

"These homes are ideally situated to enjoy tranquil countryside"
"within five minutes walk of Kemble mainline Railway Station"
Does not compute.
Seems fair to me, if the countryside you want to enjoy is accessible by rail. "within five minutes walk of Kemble mainline Railway Station"
Does not compute.
A bit like living by Woking station meaning you are ideally situated to enjoy London's bustling west end.
Another barn with endless room for toys............

Usual modern crap they build these days. In future we will all live in little boxes. Six bedrooms my arse, 4 bedrooms, a boxroom and a broom cupboard more like!http://www.bovishomes.co.uk/new-homes-on-phillips-...

ETA: a link attached single garage by the looks of things but like all builders & estate agents these days they're too lazy to even bother putting the garage on the floor plans.

Asymmetric front door would drive me spare. Awful.
I quite like that. The house is a great big pastiche though.
I did like the underground car park, but then spotted the scissor lift, which presumably provides access.
