You can get a bit more privacy here. But you get a third of the holes and it costs eight times as much!

That's utterly wonderful.https://www.onthemarket.com/details/1849376/

i mean some of it is amazing in a sci-fi movie set kind of way, but it's definitely a style and class vacuum. Some of those rooms are so white I think they would be disorientating to stand in. Some of it looks like a tat-laden wedding venue. It's basically what happens if you get an interior designer to go crazy with a blank cheque.

Not keen on having a giant Audrey Hepburn staring up me 'arris every time I shower, either.

Count me in as a no. Twee on the outside and like a cross between a Dubai department store and a 70s sci-fi film set on the inside, an utterly joyless place to live.

You see, I'm more of a "glass is 1/2 full" type of person. I'd see it more as being able to knock one out on Audrey Hepburn's face, every morning Lester Burnham style Not keen on having a giant Audrey Hepburn staring up me 'arris every time I shower, either.

What a fantastic setting. Bang in the middle of your own nine-hole golf course

Oh my lord http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope...

"
THE GOLF COURSE is a challenging and well landscaped par three nine hole course set around the Farmhouse is a unique feature of the property."
It's a glorified pitch and putt, I have played this "course" years ago and couldn't Believe they required you to go around it with a bag, as all you need is a sand wedge and a putter. I remember aiming for the house when teeing off from the 9th
![hehe](/inc/images/hehe.gif)
Saying that, it would be nice to have your own 9-hole golf course as a novelty factor. It's not far off the road though, and I think it would need a huge wall to maintain privacy from the main road - I think it's the road between Frimley and Woking from memory.
I've played Gole Farm more times than I can remember, starting as a 13 year old and only played my last round a couple of months before the course closed. Christ, I've been there over 35 years. I'm getting old.

I taught my daughter how to putt on the practice green there after she finished nursery school on Fridays.

The 6th is a decent hit with a 7 iron. A SW wouldn't even make the lake.
I hope someone buys it and reopens the course. Its a great place to keep your short game sharp.
Unless you can hit a SW 170 yards of course.
