We like the village, this one was a bit more reasonable on purchase price and just feels like a better fit for us. Hopefully we can get through this one closed out and start to make our home how we want it.

Finally completed on the house on Friday, the state of it when we got in was grim, they had 7 dogs and what can only be described as a lax attitude to cleanliness. I've been trying to get as much done as possible as my very pregnant wife is due in 4 weeks. Aiming to get moving our stuff in within the next 10 days.

I had intended to get some pictures as I went along but that's gone out the window a bit as there has been so much to do. Will endeavour to get some over the next week as it starts to take shape.

Things to do;

Bathroom
Remove part of bedroom 1 wall and build in wardrobes
Continue with the many coats of paint in the hallways, stairs, landing
Put cables in the wall for TV's, cap and plaster
All flooring (about 50m/2 of laminate)
New suite in downstairs toilet and repaint
New kitchen
Carpet stairs
Refresh all plug sockets and light sockets

That's just what springs to mind and a very simplified list.

Pray for me...
