Just out of interest...what exacly were the style of windows for £81.94 ?
Basic single top openers, not leaded, no cills etc. (old house and can't fit them). The quote system they use is actually pretty good, they've got the pricing well worked out for an online system. They're 100 year old student houses, so wasn't going to spend a fortune.
I had tilt and turns fitted in three of the bedrooms in one house for HMO purposes about 4 years ago, they came in at £1100 including fitting etc.
Both houses came in at, if memory serves (a duplicitous couplet) about £1400 each including fitting (but not including the more expensive tilt/turns which were previously fitted).
Jesus!
Just got in. Think i may i have to re-read this lot after a beer. Thanks for all the contributions, even the non-contributions. Has certainly given me some guidance.
