I'd guess it was more someone not ripping it out when converting from a previous commercial usage?

I'd have one but not in the main bathroom suite. Perhaps if you had a large garage area and you had a loo there, a urinal wouldn't be the worse idea.

Now that would suit me.

Lots of great driving country too.

I've often wondered why you don't see it more often. Granted, the family bathroom isn't ideal (especially as I have daughters), but in an en-suite, or outside, or just as a gardener's/garage loo, it's pretty much perfect.

You don't see too many Asian squat toilets either despite the number of proper public/office toilets broken by someone trying to use it like one by standing on the seat.

It would. Dual purpose at home and that limits it (for anyone but those from Leeds). Queueing etc isn't a problem at home so why reduce the facility of it?

Pretty standard type of Beaconsfield house, but it has some very nice car space under.

I like Beaconsfield but that is horrible!
I agree, it is utterly charmless.

If Audi built houses....
I think I may know the owner. He too is utterly charmless!

What's with the floor level too? A step up to the sitting bog? Change of floor level half way across the basin? Someone's going to come a massive cropper in there.

I really like that. Not sure about how much garaging there is, but the house looks great, (for a new build.)

Lot of cash though...

It is very common in Germany for residential homes to offer such facilities for male use only.

Hate to see this thread go quiet, so here's a look over the horizon at what 780k could buy you in (rural) Sweden:

That's quite some engineering achievement to have a pool and a double garage on the second floor!

Maybe that's why they haven't actually filled the pool wink

Is that for the whole building or just half of it? The floorplan suggests that it's the whole, but it's advertised as semi-detached, and it doesn't look like it is...

If you look at picture 1, it looks like the semi detached bit comes from whatever is to the right (the two windows / arch you can see is not on the plan).
