I wouldn’t call it a nightmare but I wish people would stop needlessly converting / extending. What a waste and building for building’s sake.
It's not dear, and quite versatile. Suppose you work from home chiropractor or such like, useful space that.

They’ve turned a garage into a storage space with a more awkward door on. It’s nonsense.

Personally I read the claim of one as further evidence of the EA's bulls**t hyperbole.

The definition of a porch - a structure attached to the exterior of a building often forming a covered entrance. That looks an integrated part of the building to my eyes?

truth be told I didn't even read the particulars - the 1st pic was enough for me eek I agree it might be practical for various WFH businesses (counselor/chiropractor/chiropodist/etc) but it does look totally pants

That house looks like it has been built back-to-front and the current owners have tried to rectify this.

Hallway and living room in a "normal" semi would lead from the front, with kitchen and dining towards the rear.

I know some houses like this are built with a rear garage due to main roads etc being at the front, but for the life of me I can't work it out.

It also looks a bit naff.

I don't get it, why do people keep posting links to houses which are perfectly nice and most certainly NOT nightmares. confused

You're right, off track we should desist.

A thread for awkward extensions would be worthwhile though.

That’s not a nightmare.

I’d be interested to see the posters gaff if that qualifies for thread.

Really nice place I’d say.

yes Very much this. When I was looking to move a couple of years back I found a house that was ideal apart from the garage had been converted into another 'lounge'

As far as I'm aware it never sold and has been taken off the market.
