Imposing isn't it! 4 storeys, a lift! And a roof terrace!

This one's fantastic though. I love the look of the building and passed it daily whilst it was under construction. The interior's fantastic and a million miles apart from your typical empty shell white washed penthouse apartment.

I am looking at this on Saturday
https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...
Conflicted about it's value for money at the moment.
Aesthetically, that is very nice, do report back. For me, a house like that would have to be within walking distance of a village (pub) though.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

I think Wiltshire's an oft forgotten county, overshadowed by Somerset, Dorset etc, so you can find plenty of lovely, good value places like this.

There's another house on Farm Street in Mayfair for sale 3 houses to the right of the one above. This one (try to look away when you see the tacky interiors) is an original medieval/Jacobean house and £2m cheaper than the one above. Needs a sympathetic interior makeover.

That looks good value tbh.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

Hard to disagree with any of the above. Owner is a living caricature, a Private Eye spoof. I'd like to have seen more of the actual house but I guess that was not part of Mr Ballon's brief.
It's a typical architects vanity project. It's a 2 story public toilet - https://sophiehicks.com/1a-earls-court-square/cb1965 said:

It was built in the 1920s, but with some authentic features.https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...

That’s lovely. The lack of mains gas wouldn’t bother me, nor would its listing. The shared access would be a potential issue however, esp as it’s agricultural.
OP - let us know how the viewing goes
Well as someone else has already pointed out it is a potential money pit. There are also a number of legal complications with the current (astranged) vendors. OP - let us know how the viewing goes

So, layout. The building next to the road in the streetview shot is the barn (which could be a white elephant unless you can find a good use for it) The actual house lays to the east (slightly south east) of the barn and is as close as it looks to the neighbours. The garden is a tiny slither than runs along the southern border.
Current oocupant is living in the annex part, so main house has not been heated for a while, so there is damp leading to peeling upstaries paint and windows that don't open or shut. Lots of the plumbing lots overly complex; not to mention the metal oil tank that will need placing asap.
Far to many small things wrong that could add up in the long term.
Both house and gardens needs a fair bit of attention and with that............I'm out. Take another 100k out of the asking and someone would take a punt.

That's not far from me, looks like good value and you may find that prices go up as and when Brexit is sorted out.
Because of exactly what hidden powers of Wiltshire that will suddenly become a powerhouse post Mar 30 that have been supremely well hidden until now?FourWheelDrift said:

I've seen that before whilst in town and I didn't like it. There's some nice mews around London that have similar style properties and they fit quite nicely together but this one is a bit random in its placement - especially when you see what's either side of it. https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop...
I have been looking at London places just out of curiosity to see what's listed and how much stuff is and so many of the properties have the 'Vault' located under the pavement. If you look on the floorplans, lots have lower ground / basement levels with a vault area that seems to stick out the front. V weird.
Outside of London this time. A period seven bedroom riverside house in Upton-Upon-Severn. £795k (under offer)
