The sparky made the most of that job.

Some houses in Bath have vaulted cellars in front going right under the road with openings onto a Park the other side.
Which ones?
Certainly North Parade. The shops also have long cellars under where the buses pull in

OK, that's not where I was thinking of at all. Interesting.

My OCD lost it at "Cinema - Bar". The cross bar missing from the A on the end of Cinema but present on the A in Bar.

It's not how you would spell cinema in Welsh is it?

I would not be able to resist doing that in black marker pen if I were to buy that place, so I had better not buy it smile

Interesting and quirky. The A350 is a busy trunk road though, and noise will always be an issue.

I viewed an old gatehouse once and you have to like stairs and be prepared to tolerate damp.

Was thinking it needs a pool but hey, a wetsuit is cheaper.

I drove past that today coincidentally. Always been a feature of that road but it is very close. I'd love a castle but I'm not sure I'd choose that one.

Not a fan of the 10,000 down lighter approach to home illumination.

Titlarks hill is one massive building site at the moment and the whole road is being swallowed up by McMansions.

The house above I believe is next door to the biggest on the road some 40,000sqft. About half built.

Nice road in general but effectively going the way of Wentworth down the road, the houses are sold as plots nowadays due to the value of a replacement home. One on the road sold for £21m last year (Lambourne Hall by Octagon).

I wonder why they bill this as Ascot when it's in Sunningdale?
