Any company building those deserves to go bust IMO.
Talks about "building on their expertise accumulated as a result of their time operating within the building industry" , but if they did they'd have a book of contacts of reliable experienced builders who wouldn't do it for that budget because they would know it was too low. The relatively low budget and proposed profit margin based on the low budget is probably why they got funding. Also looking at the directors I see property development, lettings, management consultancy, residents property management, building completion and finishing. Not really confidence inspiring for a build like that. Finance companies didn't do a good job of their due diligence.

Is this really weird to you as well as me? - https://www.rightmove.co.uk/properties/103870802#/

That out of place looking square of tiling that looks like it's blocking up a garage door (garage is to the right), there's flashing and lintel above for a window but no window it's not blocking up an old front door either as it's at the side. And there are 5 houses there all the same, one has put a window in theirs though and more at the end of the road. - https://goo.gl/maps/UdSU78uC6CcuFBpg8

For those in the know in terms of class snobbery.

Coventry looks down on Nuneaton, they both look down on bedworth. (bedrock it's known as)
£100,000 for the house, £900,000 for the Koi Carp pond.

Its an insane setup imo, the street view shows absolutely no consideration for parking for the new houses. I'm not surprised it's been reduced. Also its amusing how the street just ends with a house in the middle of the road biggrin

That is bizarre isn't it. It looks like the MOR house is newer than all the others around it, so presumably was built later, but what was there before ?
Back of the house, looks they built it the wrong way round - https://www.google.com/maps/@51.5265702,-3.3787505...

Even has the drive curving around to the brick wall back of the garage.

The other end of that short row and is that previous fire blackened bricks on the left house? (actually this is a different row in the same road/area).

There are plenty of others boarded up. It's not exactly the most salubrious part of Middlesbrough

A quick google walk around shows an amazing number of properties boarded up. I wonder who owns them as these don't look all that old or the sort of place that would cost more to salvage even if they are very low value. Why would so many be boarded up and not let to DSS?
In 2014 it was the cheapest street in Britain, average price for a house £16,000

"One of the properties a year ago had a guide price of £750"

Ps apologies for DM link, but on some stories like this they do get the full dirt.

More utter bks from the Estate Agent in that one. It says the nearest town is Horsham, whereas actually it's actually equidistant between Crawley and us here in Horley. Also it's directly on the flight path into Gatwick and you'll have planes flying very low at that point as it's only 2 miles from the end of the runway.
Have you looked around the 360 tour of the shed? Outside two Hummer H2s and a Range Rover, two other cars one might be the EA. Then inside the barn another Range Rover and a GTO. Inside, gaps in the roof you can see the sky, gaps under walls, half arsed build, damp.

And would a low mounted electrical socket behind a gas hob burner not be safety compliant as it's a fire hazard? The whole place is a fire hazard.

Ps. The barn the cars are in is an infinitely better conversion project than the current shed, which is the barn of the advert I now see. The shed conversion is just off putting and idiot agent needs photos of the barn and less of the shed as the only way to see the barn is on the 360.

There will be a limited market for this I would suspect and you'd have to be pretty committed to want to live in it.
Oh yes, the Dennis Publishing bloke. Bit odd them marketing it as 2 bed, when in total there are 6 with 4 on the cottages that come with it.

Find one room you like! What made me think of this thread was the stairs apparently going up through the kitchen?

There's a hand rail alongside the toilet that suggest an elderly user, but the interior with the TV's/computer/children's toys, suggest a young family. I wonder if it's an inheritance house they have moved into with too much stuff still unpacked in one room, and now plan to do up and make some money as GC is strong on prices but they have given up and selling on now?

The stairs are in the hallway not in the kitchen.

I absolutely love that. You couldn't recreate it or fake it though, the charm (or coolness or fun or whatever it is) comes from the originality.
Can you imagine being a single male living there and inviting a lady back, she'd run a mile when she saw the doors.
