I'd be all over that with a EUR100m win!
Stunning.
If you take out the skiing element then it's all a bit footballer.

If it was a house in Leicestershire, I reckon we'd all be slagging it off.
Yeah but a jaunt to the alps is all about excess biggrin
Must be my age or something but I find it all really hard to look at for some reason.
nope, me too. The combination of weird proportions, bad LSD trip colouring to the lights, HDR effects which make everything seem like a hellish fever dream, and then some of those shots also being a bit pixellated... it's basically making me cross-eyed and giving me a headache. I can only assume that living there might actually trigger some kind of flashbacks to the agent content too.

Does look lovely, having a reservoir at the bottom of the garden is attractive, but it's "on lead" only for dogs.

Mine someday.
Big enough without being a mansion.
A bit of land without being an estate.
Parking for enough cars.
Has its own (tiny) beach.
And a little boathouse.
Decent views.
And outdoor swimming pool.

What more do i need.

Photo 2 on the left, just to the right of the tree close to the far bank, something dark in the water.

I live near the M56 so the A82 would be a wee bit quieter.
I,d suffer a bit of road noise to live in that house smile
I want!!!

But not exactly "So fully self contained you could live there for years and never have to leave the island for anything."

Jeeves can drive a boat can't he?

It is a quite lovely place but I could imagine the practicalities of getting stuff in/ done would be a right royal pita until you had your supply chain sorted. Either that or very practical staff but then they'd have to be there which spoils the isolated idyll rather.

Screw Jeeves
Screw not having neighbours
And screw anyone who knows the colour of the boathouse in Hereford

If I ever have the dosh to live there I want someone on site to keep ne'er do wells at bay as well as take my tank landing craft to the mainland now and again to stock up on Stellas who knows the colour of the boathouse at Poole

Obvs

If I was utterly minted I imagine I could live in South Ken or Hampstead fairly anonymously, and my kids would prob get free school meals, but living here as lovely as it is - surely you're asking for trouble unless you have muscle close to hand??

Cheers

I love everything about this response.

  • one assumes we are pronouncing it ‘hear-ford’ in this context?

It took me so long to understand what the fk DeNiro what on about that once I worked it out, it completely ruined the film for me. FFS, there were some British people on the cast and crew. Why the fk did nobody mention it?!
