This house stands out from the long list of average looking properties in it's price bracket.

That is great, but potentially have a sea view within 20 years time.
Looks a bit like a public loo.
I like the shouty description.

"Another outbuilding has planning to be extended & converted into a ONE BEDROOM ANNEXE!"
And “STUNNING VIEWS”…

Flat, pretty boring landscape actually.
I'd imagine that harvest time could be 'rather dusty', ploughing/planting time 'rather muddy - both very noisy... Ahhm oot

However, nice usable building, with useful outbuildings and the ability to have a decent smallholding is about the dream for me. The fact it's at a reasonable price, with no chicken farms or caravan utilising nomadic traveller sites next door is a plus.
Agreed, I think some others are being a tad harsh. After all, the thread title is show us your real estate pawn, if it's this for the OP then so be it. It would work for us too, our criteria for a forever home is remoteness (no neighbours) not too big a property, something individual, and land. Ticks all of those. We currently have 60 odd poultry, and at a guess 1/4 acre of allotment space, so it could really work for us. The concrete space would be idle for a fox proof coop, no burrowing in to that.

The only letdown for me is the house exterior (IMO) is writing cheques that the interior can't cash, but nothing that couldn't be sorted relatively easily.

And I guessed Lincs from the off, with the outlook being flat as pancake. Not far off with that guess.
Exactly that. I'd call it my 'realistic pawn' - the sort of thing I'm realistically planning to buy and be very happy in within the next few years. It's actually cheaper than my current house.

We've limited outdoor space, so definitely no chooks right now, and have an allotment. I'd love some chickens/pigs/big veggie patch 'on site' plus a good workshop space and a nice separate garden.

Interior is easily improved, and very usable.

You own 1.29 acres, you need to doff the cap and rent the remaining 6.8 from the estate next door. Nice house though. Doesn't say it's listed but no energy rating and looking at those windows I imagine one would be keeping those fires going in winter. I'd be happy with the cottage and rest of the family happy with using the stables.

Nice, pool building looks like it might be on the cheap though. Bit of inside rain on cold days hehe

You don't often get a free dolphin with a house.

That one's been on and off the market for years, I suspect it needs a bit of work as it never seems to sell. Nice place though, I grew up just outside Masham.

Just such a beautiful part of the world. Hackfall Woods is one of those hidden gems that people outside of the immediate area just don't seem to know about. Sorry O/T

The location isn't great. It’s nowhere near anything else of interest without a long walk/annoyingly busy bridges over the river, or a branch line of the tube.

For that amount you buy a lot of flat in a proper part of town.
It's a two minute walk from Battersea Park, a ten minute walk from Sloane sq/ Kings Road and has a brand new zone 1 tube station at the back door. The river and river bus stop are by the front door...how is it nowhere near anything of interest?! I guess you only buy your penthouses in Mayfair?

I think that railway has been on youtube a couple of times and if I'm right they've stripped a fair bit out. I wonder why they're leaving what's left behind

Would rather a kart track than endlessly loop the garden on that. Be tedious after 2 laps I should imagine.

Looks cheap for the area being close to Woburn.

Being close to Woburn also puts it close to Bletchley. It is also down a fly-tipping paradise of a dead end where they cut the old Woburn Road in half with the A5 which you will hear all the time from the garden (unless your train drowns it out)

That's lovely as well, nice and quirky with lashing of character in the layout and buildings, you've got to love a gated courtyard.
