Ha you lot are fking funny i took it down a few days ago as needed some 4x2 and had till 30th to act until enforcement notice was served . Havent had the chance to look at thread till now and did wonder if the you lot had reported on developments lol . I see the same old tt is still on board and entertaining everyone .

I did consider putting advert on ebay for the carport i thought that it might get some interest from a New Zonda owner !!
It's the way it's going
Someone comes on here looking for straightforward advice, gets a bit of advice and umpteen pages of ridicule.
In the end we'll all be parking washing machines.

I don't know Welshbeef but there seem to be some here that do - and those that do seem to somehow delight in picking holes in any comment he makes.

Please could you stop your school-boy bullying tactics and let an otherwise amusing thread run its course.
He's a miserably little bullstter. He lies to seek attention. He is, in short, a cretin.

He's also a major reason as to why this thread is so amusing and morish, without him it would die and we wouldn't come back to it. where's the fun in that?

If this is the case then plenty of people seem to play right into his hands.

I never read this thread originally.

But I saw a carport go up locally, then come back down again short time later.

Well well well, it's the same place, not many Prowlers about there.

I pass it nearly every day.

Nice.

I must be the only other person here who thinks it looks good boxedin I'd happily allow that in front of my house and wouldn't mind if a neighbour had it either. IMO the neighbours should first look at getting rid of their pebbledash first, there is no bigger eyesore!
Having seen this in person ,I agree,it really wasn't THAT bad.

End of the financial year now -- wonder if WB has reported the OP to HMRC? IIRC you have four quarters to correct any errors up to £200. biggrin

Lol don't be a moron surely you know tax returns for 2014/15 have to be filed and paid by 31/1/2016 so if anyone was in such a situation then they have lots of time to go.

Those are self assessment returns. Try running a limited company.

Wood is very expensive. It doesn't just grow on trees, you know.

Wood grows IN a tree...the tree's trunk itself IS wood...the only parts of a tree that are NOT wood are the leaves and bark.
The taller and thicker the trunk of a tree is - the more wood is contained there.

What about the roots, are they technically wood?

That is a very moot point. Probably on the basis that they are part of the tree and composed of cellulose fibre which is pretty tough in root form. So I think, provisionally, subject to any objections that a cautious yes is indicated?

Well I must admit to being very confused now. All the wood I have bought over the years, and I thought it was all made by Jewsons.

You live and learn.
