The 180 degree 'Bruxelles' at Spa (I don't recall it being called that in the 1990's ?!) is a great challenge too, constant radius but also descending downhill. Stavelot is also a challenge to get right to get a good run onto Blanchimont, beyond. Illustrates your point about what comes before and after.
I've been calling that corner 'Rivage 1' forever.

What planning permission would you need if it's just for your own private use? Let's say you owned a field, or even just had a large enough garden, and just wanted to lay some tarmac around it for your own amusement - no new buildings, and not running any type of business.
Agricultural land requires planning permission to change the surface from earth to gravel tarmac concrete etc. My neighbour laid gravel at one of his field gate entrances where it got all muddy and boggy and received an enforcement notice requiring him to remove it. Of course they have to see it first, but nowadays I think they use aerial surveys.

You also need planning permission to change agricultural land to use for horses. Not sure why horses aren't regarded as agricultural use. All seems rather strange to me.

Agricultural land use planning rules are totally out of date with modern farming needs as far as I am concerned.

Gardens are a completely different kettle of fish of course.

Equine grazing is agricultural, but anything more is a "leisure" activity, probably because horses tend to be "farmed" for leisure rather than for food...

You can build 1km of track at 10m width for about £500k if you keep a tight lid on costs and manage it well.
£50 / square meter ? No chance if you want it to last more than 2 winters. Actually, no chance even if you don't.

Also, what does that include ? Land ? PP ? Drainage ? etc etc etc

Never mind the name - could someone tell me if it you should just follow the inside line or clip the apex in one point like a "conventional" corner ?

I see both approaches in similar proportions !
