I love the location. I hate the home.

Love Tenby. What a jewel in the crown.

Love this, just needs some furniture, art and colour but that’s about it.

Oh and this

These are two of the best i've seen on this thread, i'm not sure on pricing but the houses themselves are stunning.

I lived a minute or so from the 1st one for 12 years. Weybridge is lovely and you could walk in to the town centre and a couple of decent restaurants from the house.

The road it’s on is an absolute nightmare in a morning though... school traffic is horrendous as all the kids get dropped off by mummy in their Range Rover. Could take you 15 mins to get out of the drive and up to the main road.

At £8m I think it’s massively over priced for the amount of living space.

The Dorset house is fabulous.

It's not just privacy. I like to sleep in a properly dark room. The sun rising at 4:30am would be a major problem for me unless I could get black out blinds.
or an eye mask.
I find those uncomfortably claustrophobic. I wear them for overnight trips on planes but loathe them.
ETA (Not the free ones in the little kit they hand out on the plane but expensive ones bought for the job).

Looked into Huf recently and fairly certain they have concealed electric blinds fitted on all windows.

The first is nice, but 9Million nice? The blurb talks about acres of woodland, but doesn't seem to specify quite how many...
First sentence: "approximately seven acres"
Doh - I read that as ‘several’… too many hours staring at a screen today. Still a lot.

This small estate on the edge of Dartmoor would suit me, and the extra cottages would be handy for the handyman/gardener and housekeeper.

Golly. That is something.

Thoughtful wording here.
"Included in the sale is Burnbeck Cottage, built in the early 1980s with brick elevations under a tiled roof, and screened from the main drive by beech hedging"

Gainsborough Gardens might be my dream road in London, just perfect (and priced to match).
