Lol, it is an epic couch isn't it? You have to wonder what the thought process was... I want it to FILL THE ROOM, no not just dominate the room, so big you have to clamber over the back to sit on it.

Sorry that's st & overpriced st too. No character, no personality. View Ok. But no, just no.
Great location... its a 10 minute walk to a mainline railway station, 30 seconds to the beach.
A bit of de blanding and it would be lovely biggrin
It is overpriced for sure. I would have thought £900k would be more like it.

I really like here also, not a fantasy flat or anything, decent value I think.

Truly it's quite awful, on so many levels. I like to look for the good in properties. That one I just cannot see it. I'd love to know what that one eventually sells for a 6 may be the 1st number!

For the 100k less & similar kind of style you get this in Lymington… https://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prop... far better location. And with a garage & bigger

Apart from the sofa, your next suggestion is better!

I could go for that, but my poor Nicky’s knees have been playing her up, and although I could manage that staircase, with maybe a 3 second pause for breath, I’d look into having a lift installed, at 59, I think that she’d jib at a stairlift, but my younger grandkids would love one.

Quite like the fact that they haven't blown a fortune on furnishing it. Maybe it's overs from their London pad?

My brother did something similar, although not 65% of the room.

We bought him one of these as a house warming present:

This thread has gone seriously off topic. It appears we’re now talking about real estate pawn FFS.

Bring back the Equus and Fermit show I say.

In DFS...with the missus....and a pushy salesman...

'That will fit no problem, it's a sea front penthouse!'

8-12 weeks and two grumpy delivery drivers later...

Now this is a house

Some of the decor is a bit much for my taste but otherwise I love it, although of course it’s ridiculously big.

That's lovely (and local). PDF brochure has more pictures.

Lots of big houses in the close by area too. Also is the red long house on the river's edge the one that has been for sale (couple of years ago) that belonged to the Segway guy who fell off a cliff?

It's small, but ace! The football table would have to go, though.
That's lovely. What's with the two 4 poster beds in one room mind? Sexless marriage, or swingers?!
They’re three quarters. I assume kids beds. Posh ones biggrin

I hate 4 posters. I’d cut them up and burn them
Potential for garaging.

Right when I win the lottery tonight I’m buying that.
