Interesting boiler placement.
Looks like a student house.
Streetview. Man outside smoking a fag, leaning on the fence.

It is rumoured that on a quiet evening you can still hear the sobbing of Scouts.
Camper van in the street view image says it all.
Blows my mind that the asking price is nearly half a million pounds - for that..
Increase from 265K 3 years ago... What are they thinking?

I haven't lived in Chester for a while, but that was/is a very popular area, so I reckon somebody will probably pay that.

Be fair, at least they've painted the pipes to make it less noticeable biggrin

Surely that is central heating, in the centre of the house!

It raises a lot of questions. The most PH of which is, how do you get a car into the "garage?"

I think the floor plan artist still needs a bit of practice. Looks like there are 3 showers and a bath in the bedroom

To be fair to the owners the inside compliments the outside.

It's fking awful hurl
Another sad story looking back on streetview images and seeing the garden and biodiversity lost for a bit fking load of tarmac. I bet that house gets very hot in the summer too.
Wow that's quite the, erm, transformation...

Yes, quite a sweaty box, I'll wager.

Ha ha, that bath in the bedroom is amazing. Whoever thought of that needs to have their brain removed and it studied by science.

I was trying to work out whether it was a bath in a bedroom or a bed in a bathroom. Either way - whoever decided on that needs to have the power of decision making removed.

The house isn't that bad, but I don't think i've ever seen so many doors in a house of this size. 17 internal doors. This doesn't include the front door and door to the garage. Oh, or the doors to the conservatory and others leading outside.

Maybe ideal if you want some peace - no chance anyone will hear you from one side of the house to the other!

The only doors that are surprising to me are the one on the landing and the one in the hall, which both just seem to be there to divide the hallways. Otherwise each entrance to a room has a door on it, which doesn’t seem unreasonable. biggrin

'5 bedrooms'. Except two are on the ground floor. So 3 bedrooms then.... scratchchin

And there's no door from the kitchen to the living room.

What are you supposed to do with your TV dinner?

To be fair, I'm actively looking for something with a bedroom and, ideally, a shower on the ground floor.

It's a help if you're planning for your later years.

Bad enough in isolation but that price is twice as much as the nicest recently sold property in that little area between Haxy Rd and Huntington Rd.

Was expecting it to be under £200k, not triple that.

Sofa out back looks like it would get wet any time it rains.

Gorgeous boarded-up shop. I'd love to live there.
