I'd get a 2-bed flat in Mayfair for around £1million
Only three on Rightmove for that little.

One of them looks OK though, if you don't mind only 31 years left on the lease.

I'm very much liking this.

Only downside is I would struggle to come up with a good reason not to get a pony for my Daughter.

Not very, but the A46 is busy.

Glitzy decor aside I think its a nice relatively compact newly built country house with lots of land. With regards to the airfield, not too much disturbance as its a winched gliding club.

That works out at £2,300 per month, it's not too bad a rent to pay on a flat like that.

And maybe Leaseholds get abolished in the next 30 years and you end up actually owning the thing!

I'd not even thought of it that way.

Frankly I was surprised to find somewhere in budget and not too pokey.

Not sure if this one has been on here before. We drove past it last week, and the location is stunning, just outside Dublin.

One of the big house building CEOs lived along that Rd. I wonder if it's his.

That is the equivalent of £2,350 a month, so possibly a very good deal for a 2 bed/bath Mayfair apartment!

Edited to add that I had missed the above being pointed out whilst I had this post open! smile

Not as bad as some mock-Georgian piles, but still pretty unimaginative.

That'd do. Convert the stables to garaging, job jobbed.

Morning all,

I used to be able to find old property adverts from Rightmove and Zoopla but I can't figure out how to do it.
There was a killer house near me for sale about 5 years ago that I want to perve on again.
