There was a post a while back about a 200+ Ryobi cordless sprayer. I couldn't justify the expense for a fairly limited use item so modified my existing pump-up Hozelock sprayer. I drilled a 12 mm hole, installed a screw-in tyre valve and pressurize it with a cordless tyre inflator from Aldi bought for 30. Slight annoyance in that if the pressure in the sprayer drops you have to reactivate the inflator but for 170 less I can cope.
This is an excellent plan. Which hozelock sprayer do you have? I am sure these have been posted before (maybe multiple times) but it’s worth posting again.
Halfords impact driver. £15, and for that it’s pretty well made and solid
If you don’t have one then do yourself a favour and get on because it will get you out of a hole. They are brilliant for undoing the annoying always a bit seized brake disc retaining screws for example.
They can be used with the supplied bits and also the end comes off and you can use it with 1/2” drive sockets.

Where did you get those red and grey storage caddies?
I've got one that I bought from IKEA over 20years ago and would love some more, but I've nott seen them anywhere again since.
Unfortunately they are surplus laboratory equipment from some 20 yrs ago and no longer appear to be available when I've looked just recently.I've got one that I bought from IKEA over 20years ago and would love some more, but I've nott seen them anywhere again since.
Shame as its very handy to just be able to grab the long [red] pivoting handle on the top and carry it to where you're working.
On the off chance that your Google-fu is better than mine they are Perstorp Plastic Systems / Arca System 9050.

I haven’t found one yet that doesn’t mash up my left hand when I hit it with the right!Halfords impact driver. 15, and for that it’s pretty well made and solid

I bought a wall of these at an auction years ago. Seriously useful;

it's worth looking up your nearest (physical) auction site; they regularly have sales of workshop kit from failed businesses. And if you only want part of a lot, it's worth approaching the buyer and offering to buy the bit you want.

An older version of the standard 10l sprayer seen here - https://www.hozelock.com/product/standard-pressure...The sprayer needs to have a flat surface to mount the valve.

Thanks Cueball, I think I might be able to source something similar to that for less than 8 for a bolt ( or even free if I have one already.)
Or have they been tts and done it fine pitch thread......
Sure you’ll be ok if you have stuff like that lying about… don’t think there is anything special about it Or have they been tts and done it fine pitch thread......

Love it! The fact it works with tracky bottoms, trainers and no other PPE is a great time saver. If you don't end up queuing at the hospital that is Trustmeimadoctor said:
Loving the advert:- non-safety trousers
- plimsolls
- loose hanging drawstring from trousers
- foot on branch, on piece of wood, on plastic box
what could possibly go wrong - and we have not even started to question the safety of the device itself

Yay! It came with one. Don't even have to look for it.

Sorry, yeah it should come with 1.. but you need to change the position of that bolt when/if changing the position of the bike as well... so better to have 2 so that you need to to do that..Now all i need is a garage......
I'm just lazy!
