£1,575,000, not particularly nice inside needs complete redecoration to drag it out of the 1980s, does come with 26 acres - http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/prope... could be made to be very nice though.
Those horrible blue carpets can easily be sorted but you wouldn't want to live that close to the dual carriageway. The relentless noise would drive you crackers.

However, I don't think that massively hits the price; that's just the sort of price you pay when there's no easy commute to London. It's not actually detached, though, and the garden is all at the front of the property.

Another example of a church absolutely not working for a residential conversion layout wise. Im not even going to comment on the interior finishing! Lots of trades owed lots of money.

Someone on here bought a church conversion and it remains the only good one I have ever seen.
99.9% of them are awful.

also on entering I would have thought an open corridor between the two "boudoirs" into the drawing room would have been better, I don't think they would have been original rooms, would they?

I hadn't appreciated that they are basically corridors until you mentioned that. It's an awful layout, and there's a photo of the gents' boudoir to demonstrate it too.loughran said:

If one could pick that up and put it in 30 acres, I would love that. Lots of trades owed lots of money.
