A couple of midge-eaters can wipe them out for large areas for the whole year. No longer a concern for fixed locations. It's when you're travelling off to some place that doesn't have machines that you need to worry.

strange place - beautiful setting and grounds but unimpressive accommodation, from small rooms I assume it is an old country house - they look lovely but always have small rooms
