Brilliant

How many seconds before the neighbours came out to see what was going on?

It was precisely 25 seconds!

This is going to be a nightmare. We had to take down a tree once and the same neighbour called the police. Two cop cars and a police transit arrived to deal with that one - and that is not a joke!

Impressive work OP.

I would not want to be in charge of getting that shell into place, imagine damaging it now after traveling all this way redface

I cringe enough when watching guys dropping a hot tub down on an inflatable (or deflating) triangle!!

This is quite simply, brilliant!

I love the build threads on here, and to watch one with such a short deadline is great to read (it's the daft sort of thing I'd do!)

Best of luck and look forward to more updates.

This is fantastic!

I do wish you'd have done the time lapse video! If your local to me I'll come set one up for you. It needs to happen.

Hats off to you sir, this is brilliant! Silly question but how do you fill a pool of that size, are you going to have to literally just leave the garden hose going for a day or two!?

Great project OP, the look on your little girl's face when it's all done will be priceless. In fact the look on your ex-wife's face will be a bonus for you too. smile

And inform the water board, else they will be looking for a major leak hehe

I know someone with an indoor pool and I'm sure he said it takes a good couple of hours, per inch....

I spotted the Colson grab wagon, so I'm assuming you are derby/Notts border?

1 Month to fill our pool at work; 25mx10m and 3,9m depth at the deep end.

Fire hose filling 24/7

At the start I would have guess at maybe a few days but just under a month!!

I believe we have in total about 750,000 litres

Probably best to start filling it now then, before it's put in. biggrin

11m x 4m, assume averages 2m deep and you're looking at 88k litres. At 25l/min, 59 hours to fill...
