Either you need to take a closer look or I need a parrot.
I'll take a closer look. All I saw was a lift down to what looked like a corridor from the set of Dr Who and I thought a single area for the car. frown

Not that I looked closely. laugh

ETA So this isn't the garage? biglaugh

Check this house out and smashing the glass ceiling for properties in this rather well kept local crescent in St. Albans.

I see these new builds and think where is the soul, they just feel so lifeless. i much prefer older houses with faults and wear, than a sterile another million pound house. the are great houses and tick all the boxes but i would always want more than that, intangible.

Some of the room descriptions on the floor plan are toe curlingly cringe- cocktail bar, yoga room and the worst - a juice bar.

Which probably sounds more fun than it is

Having to mess around with a lift is probably a pain when you just want to get a car out for a quick drive.

Yeah, a juice bar. If it was a bit more hoity toity it'd be a wine tasting room. Nice biggish backyard - you could put in a supercross track of sorts back there and bonus is you can ride into the kitchen for refreshments and blast right back out there. Heated garage too!

I'd love to buy the buildings in picture 10 on that one. Perfect house, 3 car garage and workshop for my needs

Do they have access through the gates or is that just for emergency vehicles, it's a long drive around if they don't.

Emergency only. It's right by the Cullfail tunnel in Lewes & to access the road, you have to drive through the tunnel. Trouble is thousands of other vehicles do the same, day & night, it's one of two ways into Lewes from the south of the town & is very busy.

You probably all know this from the TV show but the deadliest avalanche in British history happened in that very street.
