Andoversford place has been on and off for ages. I've been inside and would amazed if anyone paid more than £2m.

Cowley house is just a mess and very overpriced.

Sapperton house is hard to fault and clearly had an interior designer input.

All three very local to me.

The Sapperton house now under offer.

Really is a great house and great work if they got near the asking.

Charming.

I particularly enjoyed the map showing the location of Nor-wich to the unaware.

Otterburn Hall in Northumberland, recently(ish) a hotel, sitting in 16 acres. Bought after closure for £300K in 2015. Failed to secure any bids at auction this week at a guide price of £225K.

Obviously the very definition of a money pit, but still...

Edit: Ah. I see frown

All becomes clear...

The cheap extension they tacked on the side to build the hotel.

This has come up for sale, with less pictures though than before. It use to show a heap of the car collection, but i'm not sure how you find the old adverts of it.

A bit of Googling suggests that the owner of that place might be Steve Soper.

Yes, I believe that's the case. It's a lovely place isn't it. Some of the places people post on here are just nice houses but this genuinely qualifies as property pawn.

I agree, there’s a lot to like about that place, unfortunately my ex wife lives in Norwich, and I’d hate to walk to the nearest boozer and have her haranguing me from an alley, or throwing balloons full of pi$$ at me, she divorced me, (not unreasonably) in 1970, and has never lost an opportunity to throw barbed comments at me ever since.
For Christ’s sake Jan, let it go.

To be fair, Jan's not the one who's on here moaning about something that happened 50 years ago.
